KLÖCKNER PENTAPLAST EXPANDS POLYESTER CAPACITY AT BEAVER PLANT |

Gordonsville, Virginia – September 4, 2007 – The Klöckner Pentaplast Group announced today that it will add to its North American production capacity for polyester films. Primarily used for thermoformed packaging and food packaging applications, the new polyester film capacity will be located at the company’s Beaver, West Virginia, manufacturing facility and is expected to add 15 new employees. Start up is targeted for March 2008. “This expansion will enable us to continue to support our customers’ growing demand for high quality polyester films. The added capacity will allow us to meet future global market demand and further enhance new product development capabilities,” notes Michael Tubridy, president and COO of Klöckner Pentaplast/Americas.

Eastman Kodak announced today that starting after the close of the 2008 games in Beijing, it will no longer be the Official Imaging Sponsor of the Olympic games. Today, UPM Raflatac introduced a new
highly resistant, non top-coated, non-smudge-proof, chemi-thermal face paper
with standard sensitivity. Designed for use in weight and scale applications
such as deli and in-store meat labeling, the product is said to have additional
water and oil resistance when compared to standard non top-coated products.
UPM Raflatac supplies self-adhesive
label materials for use in product and information labeling. This global
